GHA is pleased to announce that on July 7, 2021 it participated virtually in a MoU signing ceremony with the Thailand Professional Qualification Institute (TPQI). GHA was represented by Ms. Karen Timmons, Mr. Bill Cook and Dr. Somporn Kumphong, GHA’s Chief Executive Officer, Director of Business Development and Marketing and GHA’s Representative in Southeast Asia and Japan, respectively. While TPQI was represented by Mr. Noppadol Piyatrapoomi, its Director General and several other senior executives. TPQI is a public entity chartered to develop a workforce with professional qualifications, support professional bodies to develop occupational standards and accredit certification bodies that assess against occupational standards. This unique collaboration between GHA and TPQI will support the growth and quality of Thailand’s medical and wellness industries through the education of professionals and accreditation and certification of both organizations and individuals. The ultimate goal being to assist in building confidence and trust for visitors seeking Thailand’s impressive healthcare and hospitality services.
